Media Pitch

My name is Nikki Barua and I help women turn obstacles into opportunities and accelerate their success.

Twenty years ago, I came to America with a suitcase full of unfashionable clothes and all my big dreams. Here I was – poor, immigrant, non-white, female, short and gay. I didn’t think I had a shot in hell. But I broke through barriers to rise to the top in my corporate career. Then in 2008 I lost everything, including my partner to suicide. I picked up the pieces and started all over, launched my business, faced 300 rejections, failed 11 times and after my 12th try, built a multimillion dollar global company, became a bestselling author and got featured by Fortune and Forbes. I went from broke and broken to badass pretty fast.

As a guest on your podcast, I will share inspiring stories and proven strategies to accelerate success. In a world that’s moving fast, we cannot afford to stand still or adapt slowly. After all, it’s no longer just about survival of the fittest, it’s about survival of the fastest.
