“In terms of Southwest Airlines, you [Tresté] helped me understand what the business needs. You helped me with what you called your K.A.T.S.U.P. statement. It’s about knowledge, ability, talent, skills, and unique perspectives. That was over a year ago, and to this day our organization understands that statement. They repeat it, and they know it means. You were able to help me simplify it, while keeping it relevant to what it’s all about: How we are going to forge ahead on our journey.”
