Media Pitch

Hi! I’m Patrice Porter, the gardening grandma and creator of “Got Dirt? Gardening for Kids”. I encourage people to get out and garden with their children, mentoring them in a fun, motivating way to gain the lifelong skill of gardening which gives self-reliance, brings a connection to nature and put them on the path of a healthy lifestyle.
So if your show focuses on healthy lifestyles and conscious parenting this topic would be great as I open doors into that wonderful world of gardening with kids. This is a great activity especially for these times when kids are at home more and can be a terrific bonding experience for the parents and their children. It gives a connection to nature and will give a survival skill that could mean they would never have to know hunger.
If parents or caregivers want their children to grow to their greatest potential, gardening can be a wonderful avenue to do that.
I’ve created a book series “Bringing Out the Potential of Children” that includes other avenues to explore.
Gardening and having children develop to their greatest potential are my passions and I’ll share that passion with your listeners.
Here’s to green thumbs and bright futures!
Patrice
