Nancy J. McKay is a recovery and resilience expert, a life and equus coach who helps women find their voice and build their courage. She is the founder of Amazing Outlook Coaching and works with women virtually and with the help of horses to uncover the limiting beliefs that are keeping them stuck in the muck.
Nancy is also an author, and speaker. Her chapter in Ready to Fly Volume 3, The Intersection of Desperation and Grace, is her inspiring story of recovery and creating a new life after cancer. Her weekly show, Women & Alcohol can be seen on Facebook and YouTube.
Nancy is based in Lakewood, Colorado and is available for speaking opportunities across the US, global and virtual summits, podcasts and interviews.
I have written about my story, contributing my chapter: “The Intersection of Desperation and Grace” to the Ready to Fly Anthology-Volume 3. The Elephant Journal, Medium and Thrive Global have all published articles that I’ve submitted, and I’ve been featured in Voyage-Denver. I’ve been a guest on twenty podcasts to date. I am open about my journey of alcoholism, recovery and being diagnosed with and treated for early stage ovarian cancer. My passion is to help women explore their relationship with alcohol and to shatter the stigma of alcoholism.
