Brenda Adelman is a critically acclaimed actor, a recipient of a Hero of Forgiveness award and has a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology. She created a one-woman stage show, My Brooklyn Hamlet, based on her life story, which she has performed in 3 countries and 9 states, for over 12,000 people. Adelman’s father (who she adored) shot and killed her mother (her best friend) and quickly took a new bride, her mother’s sister. Shakespeare’s Hamlet is about revenge but Brenda’s show, speaking, coaching and her life is about what’s possible when you forgive the unforgivable. She’s performed and spoken on forgiveness of others and self and how to use your life story to heal, inspire others and make an impact for audiences as diverse as women prisoners, youth-at-risk, the US military, spiritual communities and at theatre festivals worldwide. She’s the creator of the Sacred Story Method, teaches online courses for Entrepreneurs who want to turn their life story into their legacy while growing their businesses and Performers and Speakers who want to use their talent and story to create a one-person stage show.
